Sky Blue Stars snap Martins from Pride of Rivers

Remo Stars have secured the services of Ossy Martins from the Nigeria Premier Football League side, Rivers United.


The Sky Blue Stars announced the player’s arrival on their official social media handle.


“As prolific as they get, the club can confirm the signing of striker Ossy Martins as the second stanza of #NPFL24 draws nearer,” they wrote.


Martins’ wealth of experience will help Remo Stars in their push for a first Nigeria Premier Football League title.


The 23-year-old forward began his playing career with Abia Warriors before moving to Rivers United in 2019.


Martins also had a brief spell with Lobi Stars and Rangers.


He played in Tunisia and Cyprus before returning to Rivers United this season.
