Shooting Stars SC returnee player, Muritala gives reason

Newly signed Shooting Stars defender Taye Muritala has revealed the reasons he returned to the team.

The energetic defender rejoined the Oluyole Warriors ahead of the new league season.

The versatile defender, Muritala made it clear that his objective was to ensure that the club returned to its glory days.

“I’m here to help this club regain its rightful place in Nigerian football and on the continent.

“It always hurts when I see the team struggling in the past seasons but you know when you are outside, there is nothing you can do to help the situation.

“The main reason I came back, is to help the club return to the top spot and I believe with what I am seeing so far, It is quite possible”, he said.

Muritala was part of the team during the 2020/2021 season before he moved to Wikki Tourists and later Akwa United.
