Shooting Stars' Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, assured on Monday that the team would rectify their 0-2 loss to Bendel Insurance in Benin on Saturday.
The Technical Adviser of Oluyole Warriors mentioned that his focus had already shifted to the next game.
"I have already put the game behind me and am looking forward to the next one," he stated.
"This game has been played, won, and lost. We will take the positives from it and strive to do better in the next match," he said.
"We can't blame anyone for the loss, to be honest. I am satisfied with our performance. We played well throughout the game. Sometimes, there are things that can be irritating; the players are human beings.
"As far as I am concerned, all I want to say is that we will take the positives from the game. We have lost it, and there is nothing anybody can do about it," the tactician concluded.
When asked to comment on the officiating of the game, the former Sunshine Stars of Akure coach said, "As journalists, I expect that when you watch a game, you should be able to provide an independent report on officiating. That's why you are here."
However, John Dosu, the goalkeeper trainer of Shooting Stars, expressed that the team expects better performances against Gombe United FC.
The former shot-stopper regretted the loss but quickly shifted his focus to the next match against Gombe United.
"It wasn't the result we wanted against Insurance, but we have to concentrate on our next game. We appeal to all our supporters to come out and support us for victory against Gombe United on Thursday.
"We are Shooting Stars, the Oluyole warriors," he affirmed.
The Ibadan-based club will aim to return to winning ways in the upcoming match on Thursday.
