Shooting Stars Aim for Maximum Points

Ahead of the crucial 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 17 clash against the resilient Kano Pillars, Shooting Stars FC coach Gbenga Ogunbote has reaffirmed his commitment to securing maximum points to boost the team’s morale.

 

The Shooting Stars coach is confident that his team will claim victory when they host Kano Pillars at the Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan on Saturday.

 

The match, initially scheduled for Sunday, was rescheduled by the NPFL board to Saturday, with kickoff set for 5:30 pm.

 

Speaking ahead of the encounter, Ogunbote expressed his team’s determination to build on their recent away win against Sunshine Stars.

 

“We need to do our best and ensure we pick maximum points at home,” he said. “Maximum points at home will keep us comfortable.”

 

Shooting Stars, currently fifth on the league table, will face Kano Pillars, who occupy eighth position, in one of the NPFL Match Day 17 fixtures.
