Shocker!!! Enyimba Int'l FC dumped out of CAF Champions League preliminary round elimination

Nigerian 7-times Champions Enyimba International FC have been dumped out of the preliminary round elimination of the 2023/2024 CAF Champions League.

The Peoples Elephant two time winners of the prestigious CAF Champions League inspite of the impressive 3-4 play away to Al-Ahly of Benghazi failed to make their experience count as they were held to a goaless draw right in front of their fans in Aba.

Enyimba FC had suffered a 4-3 defeat in the first leg in Libya on Sunday August 20 before a 0-0 draw in the second leg clash on Sunday August 26 in Aba, to confirmed their elimination.

Playing under a heavy downpour, the Coach Finidi George tutored-team were pegged back by Al-Ahly of Benghazi while looking for just a solitary goal, Al Ahli Benghazi held on to progress.
