Scorching forward nets twice in back-to-back Flying Eagles games

Posted : 01 November 2023
Tyrique George, a promising forward eligible for the Flying Eagles, continued to impress with his exceptional form. He made a significant impact during Chelsea's developmental squad's triumphant 4-1 performance against Dinamo Zagreb in the Premier League International Cup on Tuesday night.

The talented young forward played a pivotal role in the match. His initial shot led to the opening goal as Billy Gee capitalized on the rebound, providing the young Blues with an early lead.

At just 17 years old, Tyrique George showcased his versatility by contributing an assist with a skillful pass that set up Ronnie Stutter's goal.

Towards the end of the first half, he added to his remarkable performance by scoring a powerful goal from outside the box.

Although Toni Magic managed to pull one back for Dinamo Zagreb, their hopes of a comeback were dashed by an unfortunate own goal from Ivan Cvetko.

Tyrique George's goal on this occasion marked his second consecutive scoring appearance for Chelsea. He previously found the back of the net for the U18s in a challenging 4-3 encounter against Tottenham in the U18 Premier League.

This England U18 international of Nigerian descent has now tallied an impressive seven goals in his last nine matches for Chelsea's youth teams. His talent and dedication continue to shine on the field.
