Gombe United have confirmed the signing of nine players for the second round of the season.
The new acquisitions include Ekene Joseph from Giant Brillars, Anayor Ogbonna from Shooting Stars, Ademola Adebamibo, and Anas Hassan who joined from Katsina United. Additionally, Sadiq Haruna comes from Adamawa United, Amos Alamu has joined from Wikki Tourist, Peace Dewan arrives from Plateau United, and Abdulraheem Suleiman, as well as Ogbonaju Onyeka, joined from Golden Boots Academy and Ottasolo, respectively.
Furthermore, two players promoted from the Gombe United feeders are Haruna Ibrahim Hamisu and Musbahu Musa.
The Savannah Scorpions have faced challenges due to a lack of support from the state government, impacting their performance on the pitch.
Mohammed Babaganaru’s side is currently hovering around the relegation zone.
Gombe United will kick off the second half of the season with a match against Bayelsa United in Yenagoa.
