Saudi club offers contract to sign Arsenal youth product Akinola

Arsenal youth product Tim Akinola is turning heads in the winter transfer market, with an undisclosed Saudi Arabian club making an offer to sign the talented midfielder. The Saudi club has entered into discussions with Qatari side Al Bidda SC to secure the services of Akinola, who earned an invitation to Nigeria's Olympic national team in 2022. While Al Bidda SC's management is actively considering the offer, no official decision has been reached on accepting the bid.


Should the deal proceed, Al Bidda SC is prepared to handle Akinola's departure and is ready to search for a suitable replacement. Akinola, who joined Al Bidda SC in September, has been making a notable impact in the Qatargas League, attracting attention with his impressive performances. The 22-year-old is currently under contract with Al Bidda SC until the conclusion of the 2025-2026 season, having committed to a three-year agreement.


Akinola's journey includes joining Arsenal on a professional contract in August 2020, departing the Emirates Stadium with a year remaining on his contract. The talented midfielder's potential move to the Saudi Arabian club adds an intriguing chapter to his evolving football career.
