Sanusi to play for Porto against Alhassan and Ejuke's Antwerp in Champions League

Porto's head coach, Sergio Conceicao, confirmed that Zaidu Sanusi is available for their UEFA Champions League match against Antwerp, marking his return after recovering from a muscle injury that kept him out of action for nearly two months since September 19.

This injury had prevented the 26-year-old Super Eagles defender from participating in Nigeria's friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique during the last international break. Additionally, he missed Porto's last eight matches in all competitions.

Despite his full recovery, it's unlikely that Sanusi will start for Porto since Wendell has performed admirably as the left-back in his absence. Conceicao doesn't feel pressured to make an immediate change.

This match is anticipated to feature a showdown of Nigerian talent as Antwerp boasts Chidera Ejuke and Alhassan Yusuf in their squad.
