Samuel Chukwueze to miss Super Eagles’ away match against Libya

Samuel Chukwueze, the talented winger for both the Super Eagles and AC Milan, will miss Nigeria's upcoming away match against Libya at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Benghazi. He has withdrawn from the squad due to an ankle injury that has hindered his performance recently. Despite his struggles at AC Milan this season, where he has found it difficult to secure playing time under manager Paulo Fonseca, Chukwueze was called up by interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen.

In a previous encounter against Libya, Chukwueze made an impact by coming on in the 62nd minute during Nigeria's narrow 1-0 victory at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
