Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney persuades Foster to extend his contract

Ben Foster has revealed how Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney persuaded him to extend his contract at Wrexham.
The former Manchester United goalkeeper had initially come out of retirement to join the team in March, and now he has agreed to sign for another 12 months for the 2023-24 season as they enter the Football League.
Foster explained that Reynolds and McElhenney cornered him and created a WhatsApp group named 'Hands of Fozz' to convince him to continue playing.
The owners expressed their desire for him to return, and after some consideration, Foster agreed. He expressed his enjoyment of the experience and how the decision was ultimately a foregone conclusion.
The WhatsApp group served as an immediate means of communication, with Reynolds and McElhenney urging him to commit to the team.
Foster was playing golf in Belfast when the group was formed, and he assured them of his decision over the phone, resulting in a positive and enthusiastic response from the owners.
