Ruthless Shooting Stars SC puts four past Niger Tornadoes

In an emphatic win of the season, Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan were ruthless in front of goal as they defeated visiting Niger Tornadoes 4-1.

The Oluyole Warriors displayed splendid performances as Ayobami Adekunle scored the opener in the 17th minute, while Niger Tornadoes responded quickly through Chidi Ernest in the 38th minute, leveling the score at 1-1.

The Ibadan warlords, tutored by Gbenga Ogunbote, matched up well as Ayodeji Bamidele restored his side's lead with a spectacular free kick in the 46th minute.

Gbolagade Adelowo added the third goal for the Oluyole Warriors in the 60th minute, while Kareem Ayinde put the game beyond the Ikon Allah Boys in the 87th minute.

Shooting Stars SC are now joint leaders with Rangers International FC, with only a goal difference separating both clubs.
