Ruben Amorim has expressed confidence in Alejandro Garnacho's potential at Manchester United, despite speculation surrounding the young forward's future. Garnacho, 20, who has been absent from recent matchday squads, made a return to the starting XI in United's FA Cup win over Arsenal, his first since December 7.

 

 Although rumors have linked him with a possible exit, Amorim believes that Garnacho has the talent to succeed at Old Trafford, adding that the player is adapting to a new position and improving in training.

 

Amorim also acknowledged that Garnacho's performance is still a work in progress, but his development is clear, particularly as he continues to adjust to United's system.

 

 Despite the ongoing speculation, Manchester United has distanced itself from the notion of selling the Argentine international, reinforcing their commitment to his growth within the squad.

 

 Amorim emphasized that Garnacho's progress will continue as he gains more experience, with the upcoming match against Southampton providing another opportunity for him to showcase his abilities.

 

In addition to Garnacho's development, Amorim praised the resilience of the team, particularly in their penalty shootout victory over Arsenal, where they showed determination despite being reduced to 10 men.
