Round Two of Lionel Messi Vs. Cristiano Ronaldo? Al-Hilal Make An Insane £350 Million Annual Offer For An Unsigned PSG Player
Posted : 16 April 2023
Lionel Messi of Argentina and Paris Saint-Germain has been offered a deal of £350 million year by Saudi Pro League team Al-Hilal.
The possible contract for the club would almost quadruple the £177 million that Al-Nassr is paying Cristiano Ronaldo. Barcelona is one of the teams interested in signing Messi when his PSG contract ends in June, and it is appearing more and more probable that he will leave the French city.
However, Financial Fair Play regulations may prevent the Blaugrana from proceeding. According to reports, despite interest from outside, the Argentine wishes to remain in Europe.
Messi has received heavy criticism recently and was jeered for a significant portion of PSG's loss to Lyon last weekend. Messi hasn't responded to PSG's offer despite their alleged desire in keeping the star, according to Fabrizio Romano, because he needs "sporting assurances."
Barcelona is apparently pursuing new sponsorships to get the player back to Camp Nou while also engaging in active negotiations with him.
This weekend, PSG will play Nice, who are currently in ninth position, with Messi on the team. Meanwhile, his final destination appears to be uncertain.
