Negotiations between Tosin Adarabioyo and Fulham for a new contract have reached an impasse, indicating that his tenure with the club may come to an end this summer, as reported by renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Adarabioyo, who joined Fulham in October 2020 after spending 17 years at Manchester City, initially signed a three-year deal with an option to extend for an additional year.
Despite Fulham activating the extension clause in January, the 25-year-old now has only one year remaining on his contract, prompting the club to consider selling him during the current transfer window.
Since making his Premier League debut in a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United, Adarabioyo has become a regular fixture in the Fulham lineup, showcasing his talents and contributing three goals— one in the Premier League and two in the Championship— across his 107 appearances for the London-based side.
While the defender has represented England at various youth levels, he has yet to earn a senior cap, leaving the possibility open for him to play for the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles, due to his Nigerian heritage.
As rumors circulate, Adarabioyo has been linked with potential moves to clubs in Italy and France, indicating that his talents have attracted interest beyond the borders of the Premier League.
The upcoming transfer window will likely shed light on his future destination as he explores new opportunities outside of Fulham.
