Reports: Tottenham reject Bayern's bid of more than €100 million for Kane

Tottenham's Ange Postecoglou has commented on the speculation surrounding Harry Kane's potential departure to Bayern Munich.
Sources report that Bayern Munich is deliberating whether to abandon their pursuit of signing Harry Kane, following Tottenham's rejection of the latest offer for the English captain.
Insiders familiar with the ongoing negotiations have indicated that Bayern's most recent bid, inclusive of performance-based add-ons, exceeded €100 million ($110 million).
Bayern had set a deadline of the previous Friday night for a response and conveyed their intention to explore alternative targets if Tottenham did not accept their terms.
While Tottenham did not respond within the stipulated deadline imposed by Bayern, they subsequently communicated their reluctance to accept the bid.
Reports suggest that Bayern held an internal strategy meeting on Monday to determine whether they would continue their pursuit of Kane's acquisition.
Despite being 30 years old, Kane, who showcased his prowess by scoring four goals against Shakhtar Donetsk in a preseason friendly on Sunday, has not actively sought to depart Tottenham. Nevertheless, he is open to joining Bayern if the two clubs can reach an agreement on the transfer fee.
Kane currently has one year left on his £200,000-a-week contract. Despite sources indicating that the club's record goal scorer has no immediate intentions of signing a new contract this summer, there remains a glimmer of hope within Tottenham that he might extend his tenure with the club, particularly if they enjoy a successful inaugural season under new coach Ange Postecoglou.
