Report: Harry Maguire set to discuss Man United with Erik ten Hag

According to report, Harry Maguire will speak with Erik ten Hag about his future at Manchester United when the current campaign is over.
 
With only 16 starts in all competitions and only eight in the Premier League, Maguire has had a difficult season at Old Trafford.
 
Maguire will consider his alternatives before deciding where to play for the upcoming season after slipping behind Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez in the pecking order at center-back.
 
West Ham United, who inquired about the 30-year-availability old's during the January transfer window, is reportedly interested in the player and United are open to hearing bids for him, according to sources.
 
Ten Hag, according to sources, is open to keeping Maguire as part of his squad but understands the England defender may seek a move away to find more regular games.
 
In response to a question concerning Maguire's lack of playing time at United, manager Gareth Southgate said sharply that "it's not a scenario that can continue forever."
 
Maguire has been chosen in the England team for matches against North Macedonia and Malta in June.
 
Maguire's contract at Old Trafford runs until 2025 with a further year's option, and United will want a sizeable sum for a player they acquired from Leicester City in 2019 for £80 million.
