Remo Stars reclaim to spot on NPFL log after victory over Plateau Utd FC

Remo Stars FC of Ikenne are now back on top of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) standings after a 1-0 win over the hard-fighting Plateau United FC in Ikenne for the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 11.

The Sky Blue Stars dethroned Doma United FC, who had once held the number one position after securing a one-goal victory against the visiting Niger Tornadoes FC in Gombe.

Veteran striker Sikiru Alimi scored the only goal after benefiting from the visitors' defensive error to give his team the needed maximum points.

Remo Stars now have 22 points from 11 matches so far.
