Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos, according to Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, are expected to return for the upcoming season.
The contracts of the trio, who have been together for a while, expire this summer, but Ancelotti claimed that "they are discussing" about fresh agreements.
Benzema, a former striker for France, has won five Champions League titles with Real since 2014, along with Modric, a former midfielder for Croatia, and Kroos, a former midfielder for Germany, who is now 33.
"I think that in the end they will look for a solution," said Ancelotti.
"There are advances, because they are talking."
By adding Eduardo Camavinga, Dani Ceballos, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Federico Valverde since 2016, Real has started to get ready for the future.
And while Benzema continues to be the team's leading scorer and recorded a hat-trick in Wednesday's Cup del Rey victory over Barcelona, when all three began, Kroos and Modric have featured slightly less frequently this season.
