Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of England midfielder Jude Bellingham for a fee of 103 million euros (£88.5 million).
The 19-year-old talented player, who previously joined Dortmund from Birmingham City in July 2020, showcased exceptional performances during the World Cup last year, earning him recognition as one of England's top performers.
Bellingham has expressed his desire for the move and is scheduled to undergo a medical examination in the coming days. Upon completion of the medical, the midfielder is expected to sign a six-year contract with Real Madrid.
Dortmund, in an official statement, confirmed that the Spanish club will pay 103 million euros upfront, with additional potential add-ons included in the agreement. Should these add-ons be achieved, the total value of the deal could reach 133.9 million euros (£115 million).
Several prominent European clubs, including Manchester City and Liverpool, had expressed interest in acquiring Bellingham's services. With this transfer, Bellingham is poised to become the world's third-most expensive teenager in terms of transfer fees.
