Rangers reportedly outbid Italian, Dutch, and Belgian clubs to sign Super Eagles attacker

Tuesday's Rangers media responsibilities had Cyriel Dessers being questioned about disclosing the names of the other teams vying for his signing before agreeing to terms with the Light Blues.
Following Jack Butland, Kieran Dowell, Sam Lammers, Dujon Sterling, and Abdallah Sima, the international player from Nigeria was signed by Rangers as their sixth summer signing last week.
It has been widely rumored that Cremonese will earn a guaranteed sum of five million euros plus 1.5 million euros in performance-related add-ons, even though the transfer fee has not been made public.
Dessers had been on Rangers' radar ever since he emerged as the league's leading scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie with fifteen goals in the 2019–2020 campaign, but a deal did not come together until this month.
The former Heracles Almelo goal scorer said that this summer he was courted by Belgian, Dutch, and Italian clubs but chose Rangers above his rivals.
At the news conference, Dessers said, "It's not easy to call the names of the clubs that wanted me this summer; I don't think they will be happy if I do that."
