2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 14: Rangers International FC set to extend unbeaten streak over unstable Lobi Stars

The 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 14, set to take place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium (the Cathedral), promises to be a thrilling encounter as defending champions Rangers International FC host Lobi Stars.


The Flying Antelopes will look to extend their impressive six-match unbeaten run. Their journey began with a 0-0 draw on Match Day 8 against Akwa United, followed by a 1-1 away draw against Kwara United FC on Match Day 9.

On Match Day 10, under the guidance of Fidelis Ilechukwu, Rangers secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Nasarawa United FC in Enugu. They then traveled to Jos, where they held Plateau United FC to a goalless draw on Match Day 12. Bendel Insurance FC faced Rangers’ wrath in a thrilling 3-2 win for the hosts on Match Day 12, while their most recent outing saw a scoreless draw against Heartland FC in the Oriental derby on Match Day 13.


The last time Rangers tasted defeat was on Match Day 7, when Kano Pillars claimed victory in front of the Flying Antelopes' home crowd.


For Lobi Stars FC, a daunting challenge lies ahead as they visit the Cathedral. They will need an extraordinary performance to claim any points against the in-form defending champions.
