The Solid Miners suffered a frustrating 2-0 loss to Rangers International FC in the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 10 clash at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, despite a resilient first-half display.
Nasarawa United's sturdy defense was breached twice in the second half, condemning them to a consecutive defeat on the road after a 1-0 loss against Sunshine Stars at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, two weeks ago.

Sunday's game at the Cathedral saw both sides sharing possession despite sizing each other up and creating a few clear-cut chances, entering the break level at 0-0.
However, the home side's persistence paid off in the 55th minute when Godwin Obaje struck a precise shot past goalkeeper Mohammed Galadima.
Nasarawa United pushed for an equalizer, but the Flying Antelopes sealed the win with a 61st-minute strike from the penalty spot courtesy of Godwin Obaje, after a foul by Saviour Chukwu, who came in for the injured Emeka Onyema, inside the box.
The defeat sees United drop to 14th place with twelve points.
They next host 16th-placed Kwara United in a North-Central derby on Sunday, Nov. 10, at the Lafia City Stadium at 4 p.m.
The coach of the Solid Miners, Kabir Dogo, after the match, said: "We ensured we kept the scoreline level in the first half, and we dominated a larger portion of the second half.
"We just failed to convert our chances.
"We couldn't maintain our intensity, and individual errors cost us the game today as Rangers utilized their opportunities.
"We will work on our consistency and look to bounce back in our next match."
