The management of 'Flying Antelopes,' Rangers International F.C, aiming to enhance the team's acceptance and connect with the public, announced the appointment of a new club ambassador.
At a brief ceremony in the club's recently renovated corporate office in G.R.A, Enugu, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, the G.M/CEO of Rangers, conferred the club's ambassadorial status on Martins Ndubueze Nebo.
Martins Ndubueze Nebo, a highly respected social media influencer, media O.A.P, politician, and comedian, widely known as 'MC for God,' is the first among several ambassadors planned by the management for the club.
In his brief speech, Ezeaku expressed, "Management aims to bring Rangers back to the people, starting by appointing role models within society.
"The club believes that by becoming our ambassador, you will help promote the brand to millions of your followers as we collaborate to elevate Rangers to the highest level of club football both domestically and internationally."
The new ambassador, Martins Nebo, shared his reaction, stating, "Being appointed an ambassador of Rangers goes beyond words for me.
"I am overjoyed because I never anticipated a time in Enugu state when we would have such leadership that connects with the people.
"This clearly demonstrates that positive change is possible. Leadership is about connecting with the people.
"So, I am a connection, everyone on the street is a connection, and Rangers is the connection. I aspire to be a good ambassador for the greatest football club in the world."
The ceremony's highlight included the CEO presenting the club's replica jerseys to the new ambassador, assisted by the administrative secretary, Barr. Ferdinand Ugwuarua, with the presence of other top management staff of the club.
