Pundit predicts Olise's departure from Crystal amid Chelsea, Man City interest

Ryan Taylor, a Daily Express football reporter, holds the belief that Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise will likely leave the club during this summer transfer window.
Olise, 21, who showcased remarkable performances last season, has drawn interest from Premier League giants Manchester City and Chelsea.
With 13 goal contributions in the Premier League, he ranked second only to Eberechi Eze, who achieved 14.
While both Chelsea and Manchester City are intrigued by Olise's potential, it's Chelsea that has intensified their pursuit of the right winger.
Chelsea seeks to reinforce their attack due to Christopher Nkunku's injury, while Manchester City views him as an apt replacement for Riyad Mahrez.
Although reports mention a £35 million release clause in his contract, doubts exist about its current validity.
Taylor, unsure about the clause's status, envisions Olise's departure from Selhurst Park this summer.
He stated, "I do think that. I still don't have clarity on the supposed release clause." He further explained, "From what I'm told, there is a chance that the release clause has been removed, and there's still a mechanism in place, similar to Alexis Mac Allister, where if a club pays X amount, they probably could get a deal. Also, the figure isn't too high. So, I do see that as a big threat for Palace and Olise has been so good for them. So, I do think that is a move that could very much materialise."
Since joining Crystal Palace from Reading in 2021, Olise has achieved 6 goals and 19 assists in 71 appearances across all competitions.
