In the event of losing Kylian Mbappé this summer, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is prepared to make an all-out effort to secure the signature of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, as reported by Corriere dello Sport via Napolista.
PSG's President, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has given Mbappé a two-week ultimatum to either sign a new contract or depart the club, as they are unwilling to lose him for free next summer with just one year left on his contract.
With Osimhen identified as a potential target, PSG has yet to meet his valuation of €150 million, although this could change if Mbappé is sold.
Currently, negotiations are ongoing between Osimhen and Napoli regarding a new contract, which could potentially make him the highest-paid player in the club's history.
While the Nigerian striker is considering extending his stay in Naples, there remains the possibility of a departure if his demands are not met by the Italian champions and a suitor emerges who is willing to meet his valuation.
PSG's pursuit of Osimhen serves as a contingency plan should they lose Mbappé, as they aim to secure a potent replacement for the French star.
