PSG Manager Luis Enrique Praises Team After 3-1 Win Over Brest

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) manager Luis Enrique expressed his satisfaction with his team after they achieved a 3-1 comeback victory over Brest on Saturday. This win marks PSG's fourth consecutive Ligue 1 triumph this season, maintaining their position at the top of the standings with 12 points, ahead of Olympique de Marseille and AS Monaco.

 

Enrique praised Ousmane Dembélé for his double and Fabian Ruiz for his standout goal, but he emphasized that the collective performance of his team was crucial. He highlighted that while Dembélé's goals were significant, the team created numerous opportunities, and any player could have found the net. Enrique, who has long admired Dembélé's talent, acknowledged the forward's versatility and intelligence on the field.

 

The PSG manager also noted the importance of squad depth and versatility, especially as he prepares for the Champions League opener against Girona on Wednesday. Enrique appreciated the ability to rest key players while still fielding a strong team, praising individual performances from Lucas Beraldo, Milan Skriniar, Fabian Ruiz, Kang-in Lee, and Joao Neves.
