PSG eyes Osimhen, offers Napoli 3 players

Victor Osimhen's future with Napoli appears uncertain as transfer rumors swirl around the Nigerian forward. Reports suggest Paris Saint-Germain is leading the charge to acquire him, potentially alongside teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. 


Osimhen has no shortage of admirers, with interest previously expressed by Saudi clubs, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich. While PSG is expected to make the first official move, Napoli hasn't received a formal proposal yet. 


Negotiations are likely to be complex. Osimhen's staggering €130 million release clause is a major hurdle for PSG, who reportedly seek a significant reduction. To entice Napoli, they've proposed a player-plus-cash deal involving Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele, or Lee Kang-in.


Adding fuel to the fire, manager Antonio Conte acknowledged a potential agreement allowing Osimhen's departure this summer. Napoli is rumored to be targeting Romelu Lukaku as his replacement.


Despite training with Napoli during pre-season, Osimhen's stock has seemingly fallen after a disappointing season. Notably, his agent's recent visit to Paris raises eyebrows about a potential switch to PSG.


Osimhen's exit appears likely, with agent activity and PSG's interest solidifying the rumors. However, the high release clause remains a significant obstacle for any potential transfer.
