In a bid to position itself for future challenges and compete favourably with other clubs in Lagos, a semi-professional and travelled team, Prince Kazeem Eletu Football Club, would begin a screening exercise beginning Monday.
The screening exercise would start on Monday, May 15, at 7 a.m. at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos.
The team manager of the club, Eletu Mufatu, said the screening exercise was open to players who are between the ages of 16 and 18.
He also noted that any player above the stipulated age is not eligible to take part in a week-long screening exercise.
“We have received new players within or outside Lagos who are interested in the screening exercise."
"They have gone to our Facebook page to fill out the form, and they are looking forward to the screening."
Like I said, it is an open screening, and we want as many players as possible to participate in the screening exercise.
"If they cannot get our form online, they can come to Onikan Stadium to take part in the screening," he said.
On the number of players expected in the screening exercise, Mufatu disclosed that the team is expecting more than 500 players.
He noted that only the best players would be selected for the team at the end of the screening exercise.
