Premier League season begins with Manchester City vs Burnley, Chelsea vs Liverpool

The upcoming football season in England is set to kick off with champions Manchester City facing Burnley in the opening round of the Premier League this weekend. However, the spotlight will be on Sunday as Chelsea takes on Liverpool in a clash of titans aiming to reclaim the top spot of the season.
Amid preparations for the new season under the leadership of Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea has been grappling with an ongoing shirt sponsorship issue. The club has yet to announce its new kit for the upcoming season, after their previous deal with mobile operator Three expired last May. As a result, they are left without a confirmed sponsor and facing financial uncertainty.
In a recent turn of events, a new contender has emerged in the form of the "My.Club" website, which features adult content. The president of the website, Mike Ford, announced that they had initially approached Inter with a sponsorship offer for the Champions League final against Manchester City. However, after being rejected by Inter, they are now willing to pay Chelsea £40 million annually to feature their website's logo on the team's uniforms for the upcoming season.
"Our aim is to contribute to Chelsea's improvement following a disappointing season last year," stated Mike Ford. "We have the intention of having our website's logo on the team's uniforms by the start of the opening game against Liverpool."
Ford expressed his belief that this sponsorship could benefit both parties, potentially aiding Chelsea in signing high-profile players like Mbappe. He also mentioned that the partnership could provide a platform for players such as Mbappe and Mudryk to share training content on their website and engage with fans through events and various content offerings.
Currently, Chelsea faces uncertainty regarding their kit sponsorship, and this new proposition from the "My.Club" website introduces a unique twist to the situation as the new football season approaches.
