Positive Transfer Negotiations Between Man Utd and Bayer Leverkusen for Jeremie Frimpong Are Ongoing

Right-back Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen is apparently the subject of extremely constructive negotiations between Manchester United and the German club this summer.

Old Trafford's Red Devils already have Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot on their roster, but Erik ten Hag believes that area of his squad can be reinforced. This is taken into account when setting a high goal.

According to reports, talks between United and Frimpong's agents have taken place, and both sides are keen to see a deal come to fruition. The 22-year-old Dutch defender is open to the notion of leaving Leverkusen, but there is a long way to go before a deal can be finalized.

Frimpong, a member of the Netherlands U21 national team, is now under contract in Germany until 2025, but the former Manchester City youth standout, who spent two years with Scottish powerhouses Celtic before joining the Bundesliga, may soon return to the UK.
