Newly appointed United States head coach Mauricio Pochettino has praised AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic, describing the American winger as one of the world's top attacking talents. Ahead of his coaching debut with the USA, Pochettino spoke highly of Pulisic's form and contribution at Milan, where the winger has scored five goals in seven Serie A matches and netted in the Champions League.

While recognizing Pulisic’s skill and impact on the national team, Pochettino expressed concern over the player’s demanding schedule, noting the importance of managing his workload carefully to keep him fresh and in peak condition.

Pochettino is set to lead the United States for the first time on Saturday in a friendly match against Panama in Austin, followed by a game in Mexico on Tuesday against Guadalajara.
