The management of Plateau United FC on Thursday charged the newly recruited coaches to show commitment, passion and discipline in discharging their duties on a daily basis since the future of the upcoming players relies heavily on them.
Plateau United Acting General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla said this as part of the processes involved in formally engaging the newly recruited coaches for the team.

Habila Mutla equally added that screening for women and youth teams will commence soon, coupled with plans to parade two teams as the club's representatives in the state FA cup as well as a team retreat ahead of the commencement of the season.

According to Professor Gunen, God has blessed Plateau State with favourable weather conditions and people from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds who have capacity to excel immeasurably in sports.
The current Director of Sports stressed on the need to return to Kids athletics with more emphasis on ensuring every child gets education despite involvements in sporting engagements as well as the introduction and sustenance of gym work by sports authorities.
Former Nigeria international Sani Adamu joins the main team while Eddy Weng heads to the women's team amongst other appointments with details of the exact postings to coaching assignments set to be made public in subsequent publications.
