Plateau Utd FC steps up preparations ahead of 2023/2024 season

Just about few weeks to the commencement of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, Plateau United Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut has continue to probe his squad's level of preparedness in fitness, tactics, technique, and match readiness.
The Peace Boys now awaits the unveiling of Ghanaian imports, striker Frederick Boateng from Ghana's Nsoatreman FC, Former Recreativo Dolibolo FC of Angola defender,Seth Owusu and goalkeeper Baboni Ibrahim who joins from CS Kapamik of Uzbekistan all figure in the manager's plans.
The Peace Boys in a Pre-Season match played against the former kit suppliers, Bitnob, whose competitive team pushed the Premier League side to the wires for major periods but class eventually dominated.
Following Bitnob' s Sanji Dan Baba's opening goal just minutes after the start, the game featured a flurry of goals, skills and imagination with a handful of beautiful moments to behold.

Fresh off from the game, the Peace Boys will now head to Bauchi for the second edition of the Ibrahim Gusau/Ahlan Preseason tournament and pitted in Group B alongside Elkanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, Katsina and Doma United respectively.
Meanwhile, the Interim Management Committee has postponed the date for the commencement of the 2023/2024 NPFL Season from August 26 to September 9,2023.
The league body cited reasons bordering NPFL Live app trials across Nigeria stadia and continental engagements as key reasons behind the decision.
