After losing their coach services to Rangers International FC, Plateau United have now turned their attention to the former Akwa United coach, Kennedy Boboye as a potential candidate to replace Fidelis Ilechukwu.
Ilechukwu's seat became vacant after he left his position to join Enugu Rangers at the end of the just concluded season after guiding the team to a fifth-place finish in Group A of the abridged league season.
Boboye who was once in charge of the Jos-based team where he won the club’s first-ever Nigeria Professional Football League title in the 2016-2017 season, will be making a return to the team after sitting out of club duties in the NPFL.
The experienced manager has also managed NPFL teams such as Sunshine Stars, Remo Stars and Akwa United and will be looking to bring his wealth of experience to Plateau United.
