Plateau United FC returns to winning ways courtesy victory over Doma United FC

Since their 9-2 win over Katsina United on Match Day 17, Doma United had gone 10 games without a win in the NPFL until Match Day 28 when they beat Akwa United 1-0 in Uyo.


The Peace Boys' winless run in their last three games provided a chance for redemption and response following strong words from the ruthless General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla, whose insatiable quest for perfection knows no bounds.


Despite a very cagey opening, Plateau United's superior combination and competitive spirit appeared to dominate their visitors, with goals from David Onovo, Barnabas Daniel, Sunday Anthony, and Bernard Mundi in the 20th, 35th, 47th, and 90th minutes respectively demonstrating outright dominance.


While Mbwas Mangut expressed satisfaction with his team's reaction, Doma United's Chief Coach, Akinade Onigbinde, expressed displeasure.


The Peace Boys are now set for a crucial tie in Port Harcourt against Rivers United on Matchday 30.
