5th-placed Plateau United FC have announced an official three-week break for the main team following the conclusion of the NPFL24 season.

The Club General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla, announced this during a meeting with all players and the technical team at the New Stadium, Zaria Road, Jos.

The General Manager requested that the players go back home on break to reflect seriously on their future investments as well as their performance in the season under review.

He thanked them for their performances that ensured the team finished fifth at the end of the season but expressed dissatisfaction with the team's inability to secure a continental spot.

He also thanked the members of the technical crew for their invaluable efforts during the season.

However, he clarified plans to set a date for official Thanksgiving prayers for a safe and fruitful end to the season.

Mutla added that he would implement several changes in the team's technical staff, including the men's main team, women's team, and youth team, respectively, to enhance efficiency.

He stated that the aim is to ensure that the club and fans' target of achieving commendable heights next season is accomplished.

The General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla, also announced that Abel Iliya ceases to be the Team Manager of Plateau United FC henceforth.

Therefore, the appointment of Ibrahim Title as the new Team Manager takes immediate effect.

The General Manager thanked Abel Iliya for the services he rendered to the club over the years, wishing him the best for the future.

Plateau United FC Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, advised the players to ensure they get enough rest to enhance recuperation ahead of next season's challenges. He also charged them to maintain their weight levels to facilitate quick integration into pre-season routines.

Mbwas thanked the players for their commitment throughout the season and wished them well for the upcoming season.

In conclusion, prayers were offered for Plateau United midfielder Charles Henlong, who celebrated his birthday.
