Peter Crouch discusses speculation surrounding Harry Kane's future, predicting Spurs may lose him for free in 2024

Former England and Tottenham striker, Peter Crouch, has shared his thoughts on the ongoing speculation surrounding Harry Kane's future. With just a year left on his contract, there are concerns that Spurs might lose him for free in 2024.

Despite Bayern Munich's rejected bids and interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy remains adamant about not selling the star striker to a Premier League rival.
 
Crouch, in an exclusive interview with TNT Sports, acknowledged Tottenham's status as a fantastic club but believes the squad hasn't been built around Kane in a way that befits his calibre.

He emphasized that a player of Kane's talent deserves to win trophies. Tottenham's reluctance to sell to a Premier League competitor suggests that Kane's most likely option for a move is abroad.
 
Crouch believes that while Spurs fans would understand if Kane chooses to leave, there's an opportunity for the striker to make history by becoming the Premier League's all-time leading goalscorer.

With just 47 goals separating Kane from Alan Shearer's record, Crouch suggests that the lure of achieving this feat might be enough to keep him at Tottenham. Breaking Shearer's record would solidify Kane's place in football history.
