The Head coach of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon, Jean-Baptiste Bisseck, is confident that his team can pull off an upset against the Super Falcons of Nigeria in Abuja.
The nine-time African champions held Bisseck’s team to a goalless draw at the Stade de la Reunification in Douala on Friday. The two teams will face each other again in the reverse fixture at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on Monday evening.
The coach stated that his side has what it takes to win the game. “The collective is not yet very well established on our side. We’re going to go there and fight for qualification,” Bisseck said. “We already know them; we have seen the strong points and the weak points.”
The overall winners will face either African champions South Africa or Tanzania in the final round of the qualifiers.
