Oyo FA Cup: Iseyin Rocks FC dumped Crown FC of Ogbomoso out of 2023 Oyo FA Cup

The Quater-finalist of 2022 FA Cup, Crown FC of Ogbomoso has been dumped out of the 2023 Oyo FA Cup by a rookie team, Iseyin Rocks FC via penalties.

Africa Sport Network reports that the Nigeria National League side, Crown FC suffered an heartbreaking 3-4 loss on penalties to Iseyin Rocks FC after a goalless draw at full time on Wednesday.

Both teams in a game played at Ebedi Stadium, Atori, Iseyin, wasted lots of goal scoring chances with a 6 minutes free kick to Iseyin Rocks Fc from a challenge by Adekunle Mojeed of Crown FC.

Kamoru Ogunjobi also wasted a 12 minutes free kick for the Ajilete Warriors, while Iseyin Rocks also missed a dangerous 28 minutes free which could have been the opener but hit the bar.

Iseyin Rocks FC made two substitutions at the half time, while Crown FC also made a 66 minutes substitution when Tobi Adeyi came in to replace Babatunde Damilare.
