Oyedele nominated for Altrincham Goal of the Season

Maxi Oyedele, a midfielder for Manchester United, is vying for Altrincham's Goal of the Season honor.
The magnificent volley that the Nigerian-born Poland U19 international made during Altrincham's 2-2 draw with Oldham Athletic in a National League game at Boundary Park on Good Friday has earned him a nomination.
Altrincham appeared to be doomed with ten minutes remaining after falling behind by two goals, but Oyedele's incredible goal cut the deficit in half.
The Latics defense only managed to partially clear an outswinging corner from Eddy Jones with his left foot, which thankfully fell to Oyedele. From 25 yards out, Oyedele unleashed an incredible first-time volley that soared past goalkeeper Magnus Norman.
The 10 goals that received the most votes out of the twenty goals that advanced to the semifinals—along with Regan Linney's goal against Dorking Wanderers on Saturday, which received a bye into the championship—will move on to the voting's final round.
Egli Kaja, Aaron Bennett (3), Josh Lundstram, Marcus Dinanga, Jordan Hulme (3), Chris Conn-Clarke (4), Elliot Newby, Ryan Colclough, Miles Welch-Hayes, Tyrese Sinclair, Joe Hugill, and James Jones are also up for the award for goal of the season.
Since joining the Robins on loan from Manchester United during the January transfer window, Oyedele has made a total of twelve appearances and scored four goals.
