The Osun State Football Association has announced an organizing committee tasked with overseeing the development and organization of the Osun FA Women’s League.
Formed to drive women’s football forward across the state, the committee will take on responsibilities such as agreeing on and implementing the strategic direction of the Osun FA Women’s League. It will also make recommendations regarding commercial partnerships, league development, and policy.
The committee is expected to report to the Osun FA Board and consists of professionals making significant contributions in their respective industries. Men and women working in football, as well as individuals in areas such as finance and media, form part of the committee.
The diverse skills, experience, and varied perspectives brought by each member will be invaluable in supporting the day-to-day running of the Osun Football Association and ensuring the progression and development of the league's competitions.
Sola Fanawopo, the Chairman of the Osun Football Association, expressed gratitude to the committee members on behalf of football stakeholders, acknowledging their commitment to the game and wishing them success in their endeavors.
