Osimhen to model Napoli kits amid PSG, Chelsea interest

Nigeria's highly talented forward, Victor Osimhen, has been chosen to play a prominent role in the official unveiling of Napoli's new kits for the upcoming season, as confirmed by the club's president, Aurelio De Laurentiis.

De Laurentiis expressed his confidence that Osimhen will be the perfect model for Napoli's new jerseys and revealed that the Super Eagles striker will participate in the presentation once he returns from his vacation in Nigeria.

Osimhen will join his teammates in proudly wearing and showcasing Napoli's new home and away jerseys, which will soon be available for purchase both online and in physical stores.

President De Laurentiis shared his thoughts on this development, stating, "It's a shirt that perfectly suits Osimhen. It will capture the essence of Osimhen's spirit, and we will soon capture his image in it."

This recent announcement further underscores Napoli's strong belief in Osimhen's continued commitment to the club, despite persistent reports linking him with a move abroad.

Napoli has even offered the 24-year-old forward a two-year contract extension, expressing their eagerness for him to sign it and remain in Naples, unless an extraordinary offer arises before the transfer window closes.

Reports have emerged that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has already presented a tempting €100 million bid for Osimhen, who had an impressive debut season in Serie A, scoring 26 goals and helping Napoli clinch their first Scudetto title in 33 years.

Unperturbed by PSG's offer, Napoli swiftly rejected it, showing their disinterest in considering bids below €150 million.

With the search for a top-tier striker intensifying, a potential bidding war looms, as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich are all vying for the signature of a player of Osimhen's caliber.
