Osimhen likely to decline Al-Hilal's multi-billion naira offer

Gianluca Nani, the former Sporting Director of Watford and Brescia, has shared his thoughts on Al-Hilal's ambitious pursuit of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
After their attempt to lure Kylian Mbappe from PSG fell through, the Saudi Arabian giants have now set their sights on Osimhen, proposing a staggering deal that could potentially make him the most expensive player in football history.
Rumors are circulating that Al-Hilal is contemplating a jaw-dropping €200 million move for Osimhen, which would make it the second most expensive transfer ever, only behind Neymar's €222 million move to PSG from Barcelona in 2017.
The financial aspect of the deal, including the prospect of a substantial salary, presents a daunting decision for Napoli, as it could be challenging to turn down such an offer.
However, Gianluca Nani believes that Osimhen will resist the temptation and stay in Europe. He argues that the young Super Eagles striker has time to earn significant figures, and his talent is attracting rightful attention.
Nani also points out that if Napoli receives the right offer, they must be skilled in finding a suitable replacement for Osimhen.
Should no club meet Napoli's high demands for Osimhen, the 24-year-old forward could continue leading the charge for the Naples club's quest to defend the Scudetto title, which they secured with ease in the previous season.
