Fatai Osho, the Chief Coach of Nigeria's Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) defending Champions, Rivers United FC have announced the resignation from the club
Africa Sport Network (ASN) reports that Osho left his position after helping the Pride of Rivers to clinch the NPFL title last season.
Osho made the announcement on his official Facebook page...
"I resign my position as the Chief Coach of Rivers United FC. Best wishes to the team,'' he wrote.
Osho is a former Enyimba Int'l FC of Abs Chief Coach before, He left his role in Enyimba FC to join Rivers United FC in August 2021 where he worked with Stanley Eguma, the club’s technical adviser.
Osho came to the limelight in 2018 after he guided Remo Stars to its first-ever appearance in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
After one season, Remo Stars got relegated, but through his efforts, the Sky Blue team returned to NPFL next season.
He was appointed by the People’s Elephant of Aba in 2020 and stamped his brand of football, fondly called “Sugarball”, on the eight-time Nigerian champions before parting ways after spending just a season.
