Orban and Afolabi break drought, Ujah nets a consolation, while Onyekachi and Kehinde shine

On Friday, April 28, 2023, Nigerian players showcased their scoring prowess for their respective foreign clubs in league matches.
Gift Orban, playing for KAA Gent in the Jupiler Pro League playoffs, found the back of the net, bringing his goal tally to 15 in 17 appearances across all competitions.
He ended his five-game goal drought by sealing a 3-1 victory over KVC Westerlo with a goal in the 88th minute.
Impressively, Orban achieved this feat just 12 minutes after coming on as a substitute.
Meanwhile, in the German 2 Bundesliga, Anthony Ujah, who had been out of favor, scored a consolation goal for Eintracht Braunschweig despite their 5-1 defeat against SC Paderborn at the Home Deluxe Arena.

Finally, former Celtic striker Jonathan Afolabi put an end to his six-game goal drought with a splendid performance for Bohemian in a League of Ireland Premier Division clash against University College Dublin.
Afolabi opened the scoring for Bohemian in the 53rd minute with a remarkable turn and finish, resulting in a 1-1 draw between the two teams.
