Ondo East United FC clinches victory in Ondo State Governor's Cup Competition

In a thrilling and exciting final match of the Ondo State Governor's Football Cup Competition, Ondo East United FC emerged victorious against Akure North FC with a score of 1-0.


The only goal was scored by Felix Emmanuel of Ondo East United FC, who showcased his exceptional skills and secured the win for his team.


The intense match, played at Ondo West Local Government Stadium, was attended by dignitaries including Hon. Ifedayo Olamide, Princess Bukola Alo, Comrade Otunba Akintayo Abayomi Akinrinmade, Chairman of the Welfare Committee Rt. Hon. Landmark Ondo Kingdom Youth Affairs Secretariat, Comrade Rotimi Akintayo Akinjolie, SA on Youth Mobilization and Strategy, Office of the Speaker ODHA, and Comrade Ogidan Joy.


Others in attendance included PA Office of the Speaker ODHA, Mr. Femi (aka Better Father), an observer from Access Bank, Ondo City Branch, Comrade Awoniyin Marcus, President of the Ondo East Youth Council, along with some of his executive members and football enthusiasts. The competition, initiated by the Ondo State Governor, aims to promote sports development and youth empowerment in the state.


Rt. Hon. Olamide Adesanmi Oladiji then congratulated Ondo East United FC on their well-deserved win and applauded the efforts of both teams for their exciting display of football prowess. We look forward to the next matches in the competition.
