Ademola Ola-Adebomi, a 2023 Flying Eagles invitee, has secured consecutive nominations for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award. The tall striker is once again in the running for the monthly honor, showcasing exceptional form for Crystal Palace in November.
In the Premier League 2, he achieved a hat-trick as Crystal Palace overwhelmed Leeds United 7-1 on November 3, scored against Stevenage's first team in the EFL Trophy on November 14, and added a brace in a Premier League Cup match against Birmingham City ten days later.
Having trained with the Flying Eagles before the 2023 Africa U20 Cup of Nations, Ola-Adebomi has tallied an impressive 13 goals in all competitions for Palace's development squad this season.
Roy Hodgson, the manager of Crystal Palace's first team, has closely monitored the academy talent, including him in squads for Premier League matches against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, as well as the Carabao Cup clash against the Red Devils.
Ola-Adebomi is competing for the award with Luca Barrington (Brighton & Hove Albion), Joe Hugill (Manchester United), Will Lankshear (Tottenham Hotspur), Callum Marshall (West Ham United), Emre Tezgel (Stoke City), Semir Telalovic (Blackburn Rovers), and Jack Wells-Morrison (Crystal Palace).
