NWFL Wk12: Edo Queens eyes away points in Adamawa

Edo Queens Football Club of Benin will on Wednesday April 5, 2023 in Fufore playing pitch lock horns with  Adamawa Queens FC of Adamawa State in week 12 of the ongoing NIgeria Women Football League NWFL premiership.

Edo Queens FC who are currently top in Group B with 18 points are looking seriously for another away victory in tomorrow's cracker against the Yola based girls.
 
Adamawa Queens who are just fighting  to escape from the  relegation zone will want to play their hearts out in this crucial battle. 

However,  the Moses Aduku-led Queens know they are in for a big battle and would fight like wounded lionesses to maintain their lead on the log. 

Also, all the teams in this group are facing an ongoing battle to grab the Super 6 ticket and also be crowned the league champions. 

The race for the prestigious and glamours NWFL trophy is becoming  hotter and tougher as we approach the finishing line  of the NWFL  2022/23 abridged league season. 

It could be recalled that when Edo Queens hosted Adamawa Queens FC in Benin City in the first leg, Adamawa Queens were humbled 4-0 by the Benin-City based ladies. 

For the visiting side, a win in this game is very important, they are  mobile enough in all departments of the game to be able to counter and over run whatever antics the host team might want to pull.

With  just three crucial Premier League games left before the Super Six, Edo Queens will put every effort and commitment into every one of those games so that they can end the season on a high note with trophies.

For the football loving fans of Fufore in Adamawa State, they have high regards for Edo State because of their track records in sports. So, they expect to see a high level play  from the Godwin Obaseki and Rt.Hon.Comrade Philip Shaibu girls. 

A win for Edo Queens FC in this epic clash will further confirm their supremacy over Adamawa Queens and  give them a better hope of playing in the Super 6 fiesta.
