NWFL Wk10: Edo Queens hit Lokoja battle ready for Confluence Queens FC

As the race for the prestigious Nigeria women Football League NWFL Super Six resume this week  across the country, leaders of Group B of the NWFL abridged league for 2022/23 season  Edo Queens FC is set to engage  Confluence Queens FC at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium Kogi State. 

Africa Sport Network (ASN) reports that the Wednesday's cracker between  Yahaya Bello girls and Godwin Obaseki ladies is expected to be highly explosive because of the technical abilities of the two personalities involved.

Both coaches are known names in the calendar of Nigeria  Women Football League NWFL  following their track records in their various club assignment.

For the past four seasons, Edo Queens have always had an upper hand in the premiership, Federation Cup or pre-season tournament.   

Despite being 4-2 up from the first leg at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium Benin City, Moses Aduku's - led side will be taking nothing for granted when they take on coach Whyte Ogbonda, tutored girls in second leg encounter on Wednesday.

It is also very important to note that in the last four clash between  coach Moses Aduku and coach Whyte Ogbonda in club assignment,  Aduku won three, while coach Whyte had one win. 

Another remarkable character in these two NWFL club side is that they  both parade potential players who are gifted with the ability of bagging in goals. 

Edo Queens’ Moses Aduku will be delighted to have his Red-hot ladies from Benin City smile home with the crucial maximum three points at the end of regulation time.

Edo Queens' confidence of grabbing the ticket for Super Six is not misplaced as they have been impressive at winning both home and away games. 

They will be hoping to continue the run and cause upset against their opponents in remaining crucial games of the season.

Lokoja football fans are always great, they expect to see a high-profile match as both teams will be plotting an astonishing raid on each other while playing with caution and respect. 
With just five matches to go before the Super Six championship, the Red and Yellow jersey Queens from the Heart beat State are currently topping the league table in Group B with 15 points from seven outings.
